Founded in 2011, Tara’s World offers a glimpse of traditional Turkish lifestyle with a range of essential products that hail across the world from Turkey. The brand started off with a range of silver products and has since expanded into peshtemal towels, ponchos, beach cover-ups, tablewares and home accessories. Tara’s World is best known for its eclectic range of peshtemal towels made from 100% cotton. They’re lightweight, beautiful and quick-to-dry.

Founder’s Bio

Driven by her love for her home country, Ceyda rolled up her sleeves and founded Tara’s World. It started off as an interest project with silver pieces and quickly evolved into a venture that aims to introduce Turkish traditional lifestyle products to the Tropics. Her tenacity to spread the love for the peshtemal towels has earned her the nickname of “The Towel Lady” among her customers over the years.

Ceyda also has a knack for discovering fine, intricate craftsmanship and it is evident in the latest collection of copper ware under the brand. Each product is handpicked from Eastern Turkey, where coppersmiths still forge each piece by hand.
